Vermont CARES offers HIV-positive individuals a variety of support and medical access services, as well as education and health promotion for those at risk. Health programs include free rapid-result HIV testing, free syringe exchange, and HIV+ speakers in schools, reaching thousands each year. Every person who receives services from Vermont CARES is guaranteed confidentiality in all matters concerning them, personal attention, collaboration in developing and maintaining a plan of care, and access to all available services within Vermont CARES.
